Goodbye Christmas!

Well, it was a good run, but I have to admit I'm ready to be done! Decorations are down and now it's time for the New Year!
Bring it, 2012! We're ready for you!

Recycling Day

I'm not sure how many months we've been saving these, but we sure did have a LOT of bags of bottles and cans this time. And we had our best take to date: $17.74! Not too shabby! Ethan spent his cut immediately on candy and a snub nosed cap gun. Here's to long term saving leading to instant gratification! Funny!

Radley Vader

Strikes back!

The Cheese

Is it just me or are 3 day weekends a mixed blessing? I mean, it's fun having an extra Saturday-esque day with all the fam, but on the other hand it's another day to put on the ol' cruise director hat to entertain which means... Chuck e cheese! Luckily, the boys both loooove the place and now that the pizza isn't just cheese covered cardboard, Aaron and I like it, too. And we love the skeeball, too. Who doesn't? Even Analea got into it-- forward facing in the sling for the first time! So cute!

Happy Veterans Day!

I think this is the first Veteran's Day we actually spent with a Vet! We are so lucky to have Grandpa close to us, and it was fun to talk to him about his memories about being in the merchant marines. I'm grateful for the men and women who work to keep our country free.

B Ball

Tonight was Ethan's first basketball practice with his new team. Annie, Radley, and I all sat outside in the freezing cold on the blacktop for an hour and a half while he watched him practice, but it was worth it. I think he had a great time. It will be fun to watch him this season as he improves his skills – and learns how to not double dribble ;)

Like this sweet action shot?

Dressy

So I didn't post last night because I was busy finishing up this little treat! I can't take credit for the design at all (I was blog surfing-- caught me!), but I'm still proud that I made it myself. Creativity is highly over-rated! At least, that's what I tell myself ;)

Turned out pretty cute, huh? Oh, and I even made a headband to match! Can't wait to put it on her!
